Product Manager (Automotive Accessories)
South East - Surrey
£54,000 (ote £59,000) + Pension, Life Assurance and Company Car
Position Summary:

Impetus Automotive is a successful and expanding Business Services and Consultancy Supplier with a significant blue chip client base. An exciting and challenging opportunity now exists to work with and on behalf of one of our Manufacturer clients on a fully autonomous parts sales business unit.
Reporting to the Accessories Business Unit Manager, responsibilities include:
Product and price management for including:
- Product range review & management
- Competitor benchmarking
- Development of tactical price based campaigns
Concept development / business case justification with strategic input to parts product sales planning
Development of content to feed marketing communications
New product evaluation
Target Profile / Experience:
The successful applicant will have:
Previous commercial experience of managing a product portfolio including a demonstrable understanding of benchmarking and pricing
Broad technical and commercial knowledge from a parts related background, ideally from within a parts retailer, motor factor, distributor, vehicle manufacturer or components manufacturer.
Knowledge/experience of product management cataloguing and on line content
Proven ability to manage several diverse projects simultaneously
Capabilities:
Commercially astute
Flexible approach to work - a self-sufficient, self-starter
High numerate and analytical ability
Ability to work with deadlines and end-dates with a desire to meet and exceed targets
Ability to work effectively on a cross functional basis
PS literate, with excellent MS EXCEL skills
